Erika DeGeorge began her triathlon careeer in 2007 after the birth of her third child.  After deciding that completing a triathlon would be a great way to lose the baby weight, Erika trained for an completed her first sprint triathlon. Since then she has completed numerous sprint and olympic distance races, as well as a half iron event.

Erika began her coaching career in college when she coached young swimmers at a summer camp in New York. She came back to coaching in the 2008 when she was asked to coach the Moms In Motion triathlon team. In that role, she has supported dozens of women on their journey to triathlon success. In 2009, Erika became a Level 1 USAT Certified Triathlon Coach. She continues to coach for Moms In Motion and teaches cycling classes at the Northern York County YMCA.

Erika is married to John and they have three energetic children: Andrew age 9, Paige age 6, and Samantha age 3. Andrew and Paige are both members of the Tri Frogs team. Samantha can't wait to join them in a few years! 

Charles Melton has been volunteering and working in the Fitness Center at the Northern York County YMCA since 2004.  At the YMCA he teaches an indoor cycling class and an introduction to triathlon class.  

He is a distance runner and triathlete.  During college, in the early 1980s, he completed two marathons (including New York City).  He then took a lengthy sabbatical from serious running until he was given an early buy-out from his employer.  At that point, in 2004, he became a stay-at-home dad and began running again.  After completing his first triathlon in 2005 he never looked back.  Since then he has completed two more marathons (including  Boston),  two half ironman triathlons and numerous sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. 

Charles is also the Race Director for the Mainiac Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon, held each September in Biddeford.   He is a Cat 2 USAT Official and referees 5-9 triathlons each year.  

Charles is married to Suzanne and they have two daughters.   Lani is 11 and Lily is 7, both girls are Tri Frogs! Charles enjoys working with children and volunteers in the Biddeford Public Schools.
